He is also internationally acclaimed and award-winning film and theater actor who has performed as Tevye in Fiddler on the Roof more than two thousand times.
Merima Ključo, accordionist, performs internationally as a recitalist and has been guest soloist with orchestras including the Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Holland Symphonia and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra. Her love of world music, and that of Bosnia in particular, is something she seeks to share with audiences everywhere. As the producer, composer and arranger for her highly rated album Zumra she has created a multi-layered dynamic interpretation of a musical tradition she treasures. Schott Music published her two books Eastern European Folk Tunes for Accordion in 2009, and Klezmer and Sephardic Tunes for Accordion in 2012.
Shura Lipovsky is one of the best known singers of Yiddish/Jewish songs in the world. A native of the Netherlands, she studied singing at the Rotterdam conservatory. She now combines dance with Jewish mysticism. In 2005/06 she studied theater and mime at the renowned L'École Internationale de Theatre de Jacques Lecoq in Paris. Her work focuses on the artistic expressions and knowledge of Yiddish culture, and on using a particular blend of her various studies for intercultural and inter-religious dialogue.
