Monday Night PlayGround Series (Berkeley)

PlayGround's celebrated Monday Night PlayGround series features staged readings of six original short plays written in just four days and staged by leading Bay Area directors and actors. One Brick volunteers will prepare show playbills and audience surveys, assist the audience to their seats, distribute and collect audience surveys, and assist with other data collection.

This is PlayGround's 18th season producing the Monday Night staged reading series. Each season, PlayGround selects a writers pool… Show more of 36 local emerging playwrights and invites them to submit original short plays each month in response to an assigned topic. At the end of the season, thirty-six works have been developed (out of more than 170 submissions) and, of these, 7 are selected for full production as part of The Best of PlayGround Festival.
Volunteers will handling signing theater-goers in, giving directions and ushering people into the theater.
Volunteers should wear black pants/skirt or dark jeans and a white blouse/shirt.
