United Methodist Church, 1330 Lakeshore Avenue, in Oakland. Guest soloist Cory Lee will be featured in Tchaikowsky's Concerto for Violin in D Major. The program also includes Mozart's Symphony No. 31 (Paris), J.C. Bach's Sinfonia in F, Op. 3, No. 5, and Alpaerts' Avondmusiek (Two Serenades). Admission is free.
The Oakland Civic Orchestra is celebrating our sixteenth year of providing free classical music to our community. We are a volunteer community orchestra bringing together musicians of all ages and backgrounds to share in the joy and magic of music-making.
