The reviews written previously seem to not be for the Milpitas theaters. The theaters here are quite nice; mostly recently released movies; fully staffed and friendly snack bar. Clean bathrooms. Friendly staff. Management also does a great job of hiring people of diversity - which shows a good management policy. All in all worth going to. Tie it in with a pre- or post dinner or food court visit at the Great Mall. So - you can make it a nice outing for the family or a couple or just a single.

I cannot believe how terrible this theater was. When I arrived, since the box office was inside, I *try* to figure out where the "line" is and what I find is a jumbled mess - no line, just a mass of people. When I finally get to buy my ticket ($11 bucks!) the guy takes my money but then doesn't answer my question about whether they'll still be selling tickets for that show after a while.
THEN to top it off, I tried to bring a Starbucks Coffee in, and the management went ballistic! They called their security force AND the Union City Police Force! For having a Starbucks Latte! The people there have some serious issues, and PLEASE PLEASE do NOT go there, or to any CINEMARK Theater.
You just can't get any worse that this. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE 55 year life!

I go to the movies a lot. Their staff drains the joy of watching movies. The manager said "A movie theatre is supposed to be a fun and exciting place to visit. Delivering
"cold" service is not in line with that reality and certainly has no
place in our building." They should not focus on corporate verbal responses and try to make the customer happy. Go to any other theater and save yourself the headache.
