Two brothers support their disapproving grandmother with money they earn from shady drug smugglers. A single mother struggling to care for her teenage daughter, Wanda Vélez (Magda Rivera) tries to find justice in the legal system as she fights the company that cost her her job. Luisito is a rebellious teenager who experiments with illegal drugs despite the dangers voiced by his mother Isabel, who finds herself forced to seek the help of her unreliable ex-husband in dealing with the teen.
