G.U.R.L.S. Rock 2010 Summit

In an attempt to give young girls of color inspiration for their future, girls ages 12-19 are invited to participate in the first G.U.R.L.S. Rock Summit on Saturday, August 28th that encourages young ladies to define and redefine their own destiny. During the summit girls will be exposed to new life lessons, mentoring relationships; learn the value of unity in a safe, “girl-focused” environment; gain leadership skills; and participate in activities that nurture and foster respect for self, others and community.
