Middle schoolers learn and develop skills in sculling boats - singles, doubles, and quads. Beginners (in 6th/7th grade) practice 2x a week. On water instruction highlights water safety, proper rowing technique, balance, ability to work with others, and rowing terminology. Upon completion of the beginners session, they graduate to join experienced middle schoolers.
