LMBC Valentine's Day Breakfast Celebration--We Love Oakland

The Lake Merritt Breakfast Club, founded in 1933 as a service club dedicated to improvements around Lake Merritt, meets weekly on Thursday mornings for breakfast to hear speakers and enjoy camaraderie on the sunny side of the bay in the Garden Center across Bellevue from Oakland Children's Fairyland. This year to celebrate LMBC's 80th anniversary and honor the city we love we will host an extraordinary breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14. Other event participants include the LMBC Foundation, Oaklandgrown.org, Children's Fairyland, Visit Oakland, Gondola Servizio, Oaklandish and City Of Oakland Tours. We will be entertained by a piano player and jazz ensemble and enjoy a special Valentine's Day breakfast by Party Makers caterer Robert Pimentel. Door prizes include a one hour tour of Lake Merritt from Gondola Servizio. All of this for $15 -- looking forward to having you join us in celebrating our city.
