Tamalpais Textile Arts Guild, monthly meeting

PROGRAM: SILKWORM TO KIMONO CALLEN ZIMMERMAN
Callen Zimmerman, artist/educator from
the Museum of Craft and Folk Art, will discuss the
current exhibition FIBER FUTURES: JAPAN'S
TEXTILE PIONEERS and share a portion of their
Education Program workshop, Japan: From
Silkworm to Kimono. She will then lead a
hands-on shibori activity. Modifying the authentic
technique using household tools and
equipment.
