Award-winning Bay Area poet Ivan Arguelles has authored numerous works, notably “That” Goddess, Hapax Legomenon, Madonna Septet, and Comedy, Divine, The (a poem structurally based on Dante’s work). Most recently published are The Death of Stalin: selected early poems, 1978-1989 and A Day in the Sun. He received the 1989 William Carlos Williams Award for Looking for Mary Lou: Illegal Syntax.
An open mike for poetry, music, and short films and performances will follow the feature.
