The Pyramids, a popular jazz band from the 1970s, recently returned from a whirlwind tour of Europe performing before thousands of audience members and amazing critical acclaim. In January 2012 they celebrated their U.K. debut with a two-night residency at Cafe Oto in London and a stint at the Worldwide Awards Show, where bandleader Idris Ackamoor received a Lifetime Achievement Award. The band recently released “Otherworldly,” its first album since 1976.
