Sacred Kitchen: Honoring Immigrants An Evening of Food, Story, and Music We have a vision of people across the country gathering together from all walks of life to break bread, share their stories, and take positive action to support each other during these tumultuous time. Come join us for a delicious, soulful, and heartfelt opportunity to connect with people from across the Mosaic of Humanity that makes us truly the United States.  ________________________________________________________________________________ What: In this Sacred Kitchen experience we’ll gather together into small, diverse groups to hear and share our immigrant stories as we cook and share a multi-course meal celebrating our multi-cultural roots with help from some of the Bay Area’s most talented chefs. We’ll share our stories, eat great food, and get down to amazing live music. Who: You want to take positive action You have a story to tell You are concerned about your status or safety You want to come together with community in a joyful and powerful way You value different perspectives and listen deeply to others Why: Because now is the time to come together. Because we need to understand each other and unite more than ever before. Because food, music, and story are the universal languages of humanity. Who is Benefitting: Event Funds go to Oakland International High School’s Immigrant Leadership Scholarship Fund. When and Where: 3-5pm VIP Chef Experience 5-9pm Sunday March 26th @ The Laundry SF 3359 26th St, San Francisco, CA 94110 No matter who you are, where you come from, what your ‘status’ is, your age, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, color or creed- There is a seat for you at our table.
